February 7 - Hijacking the tv to watch the Super Bowl.

February 8 - The marquee and Brandon's school complex. I think all the schools in FBISD had a sign for the scouts. Brandon was home sick so he didn't get to go the meeting, however.

February 9 - Jacob has discovered YouTube and it's kind of a cool thing. He started out on a website for one of his favorite shows, and it took him to youtube, and from there, he learned to navigate. Now, he can watch his favorite clips from all his favorite shows and we don't have to replace his dvd's quite as often. An unexpected side benefit? He stays in the same room, coloring, watching clips and dancing and I can actually leave the room for 10 minutes at a time and not come back to a catastrophe. This is huge.

February 10 - Jacob had early dismissal for parent/teacher conferences. As is the usual routine, he got to go out to lunch. He was very, very happy to get to go to "cows" (as he calls it), since he hadn't gone there in a while. He was so happy, he was flapping and couldn't really form words.

February 11 - Our batch of sugar cookies. Jacob had a great time rolling out dough and cutting out cookies, so much so that we had to make a second batch for Brandon. Neither of them had much interest in decorating them though, so that fell to mom. We kept half here at home and had Rick take the other half to the office.

February 12 - Jacob and his teacher, Ms. Francis. Love her. This is Jacob's last year at Barrington Place before he moves on to middle school. I love going to the class parties at Jacob's school because his classmates are so loving and fun to watch.

February 13 - For this mom and me day, Brandon chose the Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Theif movie and lunch at TGI Fridays. Doing things is hard with Jacob, so a couple times a year, Brandon and I go and spend a day together. Love getting to spend time with him when I'm not stressed or my attention is divided.
