Playing with the iPad for a scrapbooking self-portrait challenge

Brandon and Rick perusing class descriptions for freshman classes. (Pardon me for a moment while I have a small breakdown). He signed up for PreAP Biology, Algebra 1, World Geography, English 1, Touch System Data Entry (keyboarding)/Professional Communications, Health/Communication Applications, and Architectural Design.

Rick has been taking Jacob to the office on weekends so he can get his "e is for elevator" fix. I guess he occasionally checks out the snack closet and apparently found it lacking. On Sunday we packed himself 3 lunchboxes of snacks while waiting for Rick to finally be ready to go. One had granola bars, one had fruit snacks and one had graham crackers. He never actually ate anything while he was there, though.

Brandon with his friend Jason and Jason's dad Bryan getting ready to head off to the El Rancho Cima backpacking trip in the Texas Hill Country. They hiked about 7 miles and Saturday and 3 on Sunday. It got down to about 38 degrees Saturday night, so Brandon once again came home with some chest congestion.

For Christmas, I got Rick the Zuma computer game where you shoot colored balls into the chain to zap sets before the chain gets to the tomb. He likes it. When he left his computer unattended, Jacob stole it and gave the game a try. He mostly just randomly shot the balls, but he at least named the colors as he was doing so.
