Brandon was up first. On his way to braces. He's not exceedingly pleased.

This week was Jacob's turn. He's not real pleased to be there. Pretty sure he remembers the last time he was in the yellow room that he was wrestled onto a back board and velcroed into place. It only took 5 people to get him there.

He did much better this time. With the help of the ipod to keep him calm, he was able to get about half the cleaning done before the grit and taste of the cleaning compound upset his stomach and made him throw up. Luckily, Jacob is not their only special needs patient, so it didn't even phase them. More than likely it didn't phase them since he did it last time, too.

After we got everything cleaned up, we went back and tried the gas. Jacob had no problem with that. His hands started off happy and flappy and pretty soon his eyes were rolling around and he was nice and calm and they finished the cleaning, took x-rays and did the dental exam. No cavities and no problems.
Today was Rick's turn--root canal #2. I'm thinking our dental insurance is not loving us at this point.
