Christmas is making itself known in the Staigle house. Jacob has gotten a new round of singing Christmas toys: a singing Santa, a nutcracker Santa that plays the drums, and a snowman flying in an airplane. He loves them all. Everyone asks if it drives me crazy to have to listen to Christmas music in October. Nope, because we listen to Christmas music all year long.
Playing around with my camera one night and actually managed to get a good shot of a smiling Brandon. I'm not sure why all my pictures are showing up fuzzy on the computer, because they are fine in real life.
He's become a dedicated reader. Since the beginning of school, he's read several Garth Nix books that he's checked out from the library, the new Wimpy Kid book, a couple Deltora books, and re-read a few favorites. His favorite ploy to stave off bedtime is to ask if he can read for a little bit. Hard to say no to that one.
