It's a right of passage at Meadows Elementary for the 5
th graders to get an end of year pool party, sort of a graduation celebration before heading on to middle school. The moms have been having monthly bake sales and such since September to raise money for the pool, DJ, pizza, racing slide, ice cream sundae bar, and gift card prizes.

It's 3 hours of nothing but fun for the kids, with no younger (or
older) siblings allowed to get in the way.

They had fun. And the boys (the kids of us moms who have been the volunteers forever and were once again staying late to clean up) thought they would pass the time by seeing who could stay in the discarded ice the longest. Brandon was the only one without a shirt to give it a try. Crazy kid.
