Just a tad, wouldn't you say? There's just nowhere for the water to go after awhile. Of course, kids (especially Brandon and his friend Kenny) were in heaven. When we first got home from errands, the water was completely up over the curb in front and slowly went down over the next 2 or so hours before the thunder cleared out and it was safe to play in the steady drizzle. (Please ignore my messy redneck backyard; Brandon feels that it is his God-given right to drag anything and everything all over the place, making forts, whether it was meant for fort making or not. Back around June I decided that it just wasn't worth the fights and that I could do a little housekeeping in Septebmer, so to speak.)
