This year's theme was Cubs of the Wild, Wild West. Unfortunately, Brandon's pack didn't earn any pins they didn't already have, and instead did work for pins they had already earned. Yeah, we didn't think it was such a smart idea either, but Rick wasn't the one in charge of signing them up for activities. Anyway, Brandon loved making rockets (for the scientist pin), was not pleased with the activities for outdoorsman, but thoroughly enjoyed shooting and archery (as usual). It was an extremely busy week for Brandon. Monday he started Vacation Bible School in the morning (and Jacob started summer school). Tuesday through Thursday he had VBS in the morning until 12 and then scout camp from 2-8:30. Friday he had the VBS ending program/musical and the last day of scout camp, plus his best friend over for a sleepover and the Barefootin' Friday tween activity at the pool until 11pm. He did ok, but after helping Rick outside all day Saturday, he crashed hard at bedtime.
