Math TAKS

Earlier this spring Brandon took the reading Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills test (the standardized test here in Texas) and not only passed, but scored in the Commended Performance Range. Today we got the math TAKS test scores back. Again, my smart little guy got Commended Performance. Missed two questions. He was so worried about this test; because the schools are always worried about it because it helps determine funding. Brandon's school usually doesn't have that problem, and I think something like 91% passed the math section, compared to 75-80 average at a lot of the elementary schools down here. Proud of my little guy!
