They had stayed the night near St. Louis, and toured the arch.
We drove from Memphis and picked Randy up around noon, but the other group was a couple hours behind us, so we decided to go ahead on to Gatlinburg and check in to the condo. Because of construction and an accident, we didn't really get there all that far ahead of them. Rick and Randy headed to the grocery store, and then after we got the Brandon back, we watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics before heading to bed.
