The water of Lake Tahoe was cold, very cold. At least that's what the guys tell me. It seemed cruel to drive Jacob around a lake and not let him get in, so we payed the $8 parking fee, got him in his trunks and turned him loose. This is Brandon's "oh my God! It's freezing!" face.

Jacob posed for a minute and then he was off.

He obviously had no qualms about the water being about 55 degrees.

Brandon collected some rocks for his collection.

Blowing bubbles in the water.

He was having too much fun.

When we told him it was time to get out, he laughed at us and swam a little further out. Rick and I kind of looked at each other and said, "not going after him."

Because he's a good boy, he only stayed in a couple more minutes before listening to us and coming back to shore. After that it was back to the condo for a snack then back down to Stateline and the casinos. Rick played roulette for awhile before his poker tournament started.

While Rick was playing poker and Grandma was at the casino, Randy and I took the boys to look through the shops, eat some ice cream and play a little mini golf. For Brandon, it's not a vacation unless there is at least one round of mini-golf. Jacob usually watches, but I paid for him anyway and was pleasantly surprised when he actually took his club and used it to move the ball down the courses and into the hole.
