I had originally planned to do a Circus themed birthday party for Jacob, bu since he doesn't really care about parties, we decided to go to the actual circus instead! Jacob was pretty excited.

It was close to impossible to get good shots of the aerial performers. Their costumes were so bright and sparkly that it would completely wash them out in photos.
The Asadulin Troupe, who used teeterboards to launch themselves into the air to make pyramids. (Rick's favorite)
Duo Fusion, a husband and wife team. She was pretty darn strong.
Ulaanbaatar Ballerina, a gymnast and ballet troupe from Mongolia.
The Balancing Body Benders
The Bionic Brothers, from the Ukraine.
Yes, she is flying and twirling by her hair.
Mighty Meetal, the strong man, holding 1 man, 3 women and enough weight to total 1300 pounds.
The Sky High Ice Gliders, a high wire act.
The Torres family, riding 7 motorcycles inside the Globe of Steel (Brandon's favorite)
intermission
The Flying Caceres, a trapeze troupe. The lead performer is a third generation trapeze artist and attempted the quadruple somersault. He almost got it.
The elephants (Mom's favorite)
Trupe Fantasy, acrobats from Romania.
Barnum Bouncers, from China, who bounced on six huge trampolines. They did a music routine and also jumped through hoops. Their uniforms made them look like they were on fire as they were jumping.
