A Fuzzy Friends Tale

Meet Wabbit. Wabbit makes Jacob happy. Mom does not.
Because Jacob likes to walk around with Wabbit outside.
And wants to take Wabbit to school. Which mom must say no to, because it will get Wabbit taken away. Well it took some doing to get him out of Jacob's hands, and it resulted in Jacob heading off to school with a quivering lower lip and a very, very sad face. When he got home that afternoon, the lip quiver returned because Wabbit was not in mom's hands when Jacob got off the bus. After a (thankfully) nonunderstandable tirade while he walked to the house, Jacob found Wabbit waiting for him at the table and all was well.

The next morning, Jacob thought that he could maybe sneak "SNAKE!" past mom. Surely she won't notice if he's underneath the backpack.
Because everyone wears a snake around their neck like a scarf, right?
Well, mom noticed "SNAKE!" and took him away as the bus came around the corner.
And on day 3, Jacob attempted to smuggle "snake" (not to be confused with SNAKE!) to school, thinking that perhaps he blended in a little better.
Really, though, not so much. snake had to stay home, too, but by this time Jacob was used to it and handed the lovey over with no fuss.
