Time for the awesome three day crop at Grace's house. Three days of hanging out, eating out, scrapbooking and laughing. And lots of photo shoots (we are scrapbookers, after all).
On Monday (Veteran's Day) Rick had the day off of work and so we ran errands. When Jacob got home from school, he saw Rick sitting on the couch and we think he assumed that that meant mom was going somewhere again, so...he sat on mom for an hour so she couldn't move.
Still playing with the new camera.Oddly compelling.
Grabbed the camera to play while Rick and Brandon were on a scout camping trip. It would have been better if I was using a tripod rather than trying to stabilize with the mailbox, but hey. It was worth a try.
A random selfie in the car while waiting on a very rainy morning to go in and see Catching Fire.
Coogan for Rick (I think it was originally apple kuchen, i.e. apple cake in German)Rain, rain, rain and oh look, more rain.
Peppermint bark from his cousin Bonnie.
Looked over one night and noticed Rick was sound asleep at 7pm. We were all still trying to get rid of the remnants of the cold we got Halloween week.
Jacob would happily make his yearly Christmas dvd pick if they would ever hook up the sample player. The XY chromosome, because mothers everywhere spend their life questioning "why...?"
On sale buy one/get 2 free? Of course I stocked up.
Thanksgiving:
Rick grabbed the camera and took a picture. I {{heart}} that.
An amusing attempt at a family photo. We don't really have any open walls, so we sat on our bed. Jacob does not understand the concept of sitting on a bed. Brandon does not understand the concept of smiling. Sorry mom, this is as good as it got.
