Jacob's so awesome, he doesn't get a birthday party, he gets a birthday weekend. First up, it's Chuck E Cheese on Friday

Then family dinner at Outback on Saturday.

After which we walked around the corner to Cinnabon for Sunday breakfast. Jacob made sure to supervise.

 

He was a little sleepy.  Then Sunday afternoon it was time to open presents:

 His Happy, Happy, Happy shirt says it all. Paint, movies, books. His favorites.

I hadn't planned on making a cake since Jacob's not a big cake eater, but he handed me a cake mix and said, "birthday!" so I made a quick cake with stuff I had in my baking cabinet. It must have been good, because even Rick and Jacob ate some.
